October 2019 was a month full of excitement as the city of Atlanta geared up for a lovely, albeit rainy, fall season. Early in the month, Empress Elite Limousine was offered the opportunity to participate in a fabulous event called the Bubbles Benefit. Created by Atlanta-based digital marketing agency, AIS Media, the event aimed to raise funds for Hands Across Atlanta, a charity organization whose mission is to help the people of Atlanta get back and stay on the right track. Along other sponsors, Empress Elite offered its black car service in Atlanta as a big-ticket item for the night’s raffle event.
What is Hands Across Atlanta?
A group that began in 2013 has since grown into one of Atlanta’s most influential nonprofit organizations, serving, feeding and clothing Atlanta’s veterans, homeless and underserved children. Their maiden mission was to create and maintain a “Potluck in the Park,” held on the second Sunday of every month where members of the homeless population can receive food, clothing, haircuts and hygiene products.
Hands Across Atlanta also helps several homeless veterans regain their smiles through reconstructive and general dentistry services with the generous help of local dentists. The Bubbles Benefit event was aimed at raising funds for the children of Atlanta’s public school system in order to purchase much-needed school supplies and other school supplies. We were honored to support a cause that helps children get off to a good start in school and encourages education from a young age.
How Black Car Service in Atlanta Gives Back
What may seem like a small token can often bring bigger results. Empress Elite Limousine was honored to offer a discount on our black car service as a prize in the Bubbles Benefit raffle. This contribution paired with the other lovely prizes served as great incentive for guests to purchase handfuls of raffle tickets for a chance to win. All proceeds of the raffle portion of the evening went straight to Hands Across Atlanta and the children’s school supplies.
Black car service in Atlanta may, at first blush, seem like an odd prize for a children’s benefit. However, we were in great company with other great vendors and their prizes, which are geared towards those that are able to make a change. By reaching an audience with the resources and capabilities to help the underserved children of Atlanta, we’re taking a big step forward in getting things done and getting access to the supplies children need to be successful.
